In 1968, inspired by the painters he saw in an encyclopedia, he started painting oil paintings (Enamel) on his own. Influenced by the music he had been hearing since the mid-1960s, he made strange music with the pipe bottles, mandolins and metal objects he found lying around and formed a band that he would later call \"\u00c7at\u0131 1972 Improvisation\". In those years when there was no opportunity to play music outside of weddings and clubs, band members used to hang out on the roof and played and recorded their own music. He learned that their music was known in the world in the mid-80s as \"Free Improvisation\" by listening to similar examples during the internet era in the 90s. He graduated from Ege University in 1980. In 2009, he started to give concerts in outdoor venues, thinking that the environment would now be suitable for \u00c7at\u0131 music.\n\nHe has played in concerts and festivals in Europe and the Far East since 2012.
